Understanding Order Statuses and Editing Orders

Modified on Wed, 1 Oct, 2025 at 2:52 PM

Orders move through different statuses from design to delivery. Each status determines what you can edit and what actions are still possible.

1. New

  • Order has been designed but not placed.

  • Edit button is available in the cart — both design and measurements can be updated.

2. Queued

  • Order has been placed but not yet in production.

  • Edit button is still available — design and measurements can be updated.

  • Stores can change the status to Queued – On Hold or Canceled from the Cart page (via the 3-dot menu).

  • Canceled in Queued stage: no fabric charges will apply.

3. Pre-Production

  • Order is now in the maker’s system; fabric is ordered if external.

  • Edit button disappears — measurements cannot be changed.

  • Changes must be requested via Remarks or by sending a Help ticket.

  • Changes are not guaranteed once in pre-production.

  • If canceled at this stage (ASR), fabric charges may apply.

4. In Production

  • Order is on the assembly line.

  • No changes can be made.

  • Orders can sometimes be held for fixes after production ends, but this comes with additional cost and uncertain timelines.

5. In Transit

  • Order has a tracking number.

  • Tracking shows in Studio, the Packing List, and the Shipment page.

Fabric & Cancellation Notes

  • If external fabrics have already been ordered and shipped, the store is responsible for the cost. The fabric can either be sent directly to the store or reassigned to another order.
