One setting holding two different kinds of value. Three of them are a progression named Slight, Moderate and Serious. Two of them are named for a concave waist. They are not one scale, so read the list before you pick.

The app mixes the two kinds together in its own order, listing Normal, then Slight 0.5, then the two concave waist values, then Moderate 1.0 and Serious 1.5. Pick by name rather than by position in the list.
It conflicts with Back and with Front Shoulder
Slight, Moderate and Serious all conflict with every backward value of the Back setting. Slight and Moderate also conflict with the backward values of Front Shoulder. If you set a conflicting pair, the measurement page marks them with a Conflict warning and tells you which two settings disagree.
The two concave waist values have no conflicts recorded against them.
Garments it affects
The widest reach of any setting in this folder. Jackets, overcoats, shirts and dresses, including suits and three-pieces, and on Boya styles waistcoats as well.
When in doubt
Normal. Most clients need no body shape change at all, and it is easier to add one on a later order than to unwind one. See Body Shape and fit: start here.
When to use
If the client's upper back area is more rounded, this addition could help ease the jacket. Concave waist is common amongst clients who have a neck leaning forward, but need a Backward body stance. This is also known as Hollowback or Swayback.
This article explains the setting. It is not an assessment of your client. We can explain what the setting does, but the choice stays with you and your brand.
